Silverstone, 28 August: the MotoGP grid heads to United Kingdom this weekend for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone race track (the longest one in the MotoGP calendar: 5.900m). Stefan Bradl and his crew arrive in Silverstone in confident mood as the German qualified fourth at last year’s race and finished sixth, thus the intention is to get back closer to the front. The British GP will showcase the LCR Honda machines sporting the CWM branding for the third time in this season.

Anthony Constantinou (CWM CEO): “The LCR team has become part of CWM’s family – the beauty of our relationship is that it feels like it had been established many years ago, working together with perfect synergy. The MotoGP season has been a sensational one this year! To add more excitement to the next one, we will be renaming the team to CWM-LCR HONDA - and with our new bike and new team colours, we are all very motivated and excited for the 2015 season!”

Stefan: “In my opinion Silverstone is a good circuit despite the varying weather. I just would like to have some clearer weather conditions for the weekend: completely wet or completely dry. It’s quite a fast track but not so many hard braking areas. In my first year on a MotoGP bike, I finished eighth and last season I finished sixth due to some edge grip problems. The potential of our RCV is high and with the data gathered at Brno test we should find the right package to challenge the front guys. I know it’s pretty hard but we will try anyway”.
